Chrysler transmission plant in Indiana – Chrysler Group officially operate a new transmission plant in Tipton, Indiana, United States. The plant will be used to produce a nine-speed transmission of new car manufacturers from the United States of America.

After read from Leftlanenews, last year the company has announced plans to acquire a facility of 782 thousand square meters with an investment of USD162 million. Nine-speedtransmission is produced in this plant will be used for the Cherokee, Chrysler 200, and other models.

This new transmission plant will require approximately 850 workers, and will produce as much as 800 thousand transmission to vehicles in the U.S. and abroad.

Tipton assembly plant is a part of Chrysler’s production network transmission in North Central Indiana. This factory has workers 2,600 people, and more than $ 1 , 6 billion in investment since 2009.
